Jalapeno Poppers

12 fresh jalapeno peppers
12 slices of bacon
24 little smokies
1 package of cream cheese (room temperature)
1 bunch of fresh chives

Cut of the tops of the jalapenos and split lengthwise. Scoop out the seeds and membrane. Spread the cream cheese onto the jalapeno and place a little smokey on top. Wrap in bacon and secure with a toothpick.

Place on smoker and cook at about 225 degrees for 2-1/2 hours or until the bacon is as done as you like. Chop up the chives and sprinkle on poppers before serving.

What a great idea adding the little smokies to your poppers! YUM.
